The School
Concito buys Dutchloft residential project in Waalre.
Concito Vastgoed has bought the project "The School" from developer and transformation specialist Dutchloft for one of its residential limited partnerships in Waalre. The driving force behind the development is CEO Eric van Kimmenade of Dutchloft. The project has now been completed and consists of 33 high-quality apartments, 11 of which are rented out in the social segment.
The project
Waalre is strongly emerging as a residential location and takes full advantage of it's quiet and scenic surroundings, as well as the proximity of multinationals such as VDL and ASML and the High Tech Campus. The hallmark of the project is the old Canisius school on Gestelsestraat, which has been given a new purpose and a stylish transformation. Behind the school building, which has been converted into 22 apartments, on the former school yard, a modern new building has emerged with 11 ground-level houses. The residents of both developments can use on-site parking, some dwellings have their own outdoor space and there is a roof terrace, which is furnished for communal use. Dutchloft has paid special attention to the environment and sustainability. For example, solar panels are used in all homes and all homes are all-electric. Project "The School" thus meets the needs of starters and expats coming to the growing Eindhoven region, and the high standards that correspond to the wishes of Concito.
Concito

In this development quality has been delivered by Dutchloft in several respects. “This is what we like to invest in; solid homes for a long-term holding period, where quality of life is central in addition to good returns ”. This purchase makes another contribution to the portfolio objective of our partnerships; rental homes throughout the Netherlands (newly build and existing) in the social and private rental sector.

Quality and sustainability are of paramount importance to Dutchloft. Dutchloft is a project developer with a small and dedicated team that has gained extensive experience in purchasing and transforming vacant buildings, but also in starting new resi schemes in which modern studios and apartments are realized. After successful projects in Waalre and Budel, Dutchloft has several schemes under development in the Eindhoven region. In this region, but also beyond, it is looking for redevelopments in city and village centers, in order to give buildings a second life and contribute to the improvement of these areas.
