Union Investment has acquired project AMST in Amsterdam.
Union Investment has acquired 252 apartments and retail space in project AMST in Amsterdam.
AMST is a new resi and retail scheme of developer MRP and is located adjacent to the Amstel Station.
Union Investment from Hamburg is placing the new asset in its fund Unilmmo. In 2019, Union acquired the Y-towers with 176 apartments, which are also housed in the Unilmmo.
AMS consists of 2 buildings with a total of 21,849 sq m. The 252 apartments will cover 15,890 sq m and 5,960 sq m will be rented out for retail, bars and restaurants in the lower floors.
The apartments vary in size from 42 to 140 sq m. About 80% is mid rent, 20% is free market rent. There is an underground parking facility for 114 cars and 966 bicycles. Completion is now scheduled for December 2022.
